This gentle walk should work off the festive food and drink and clear away those headaches! We begin 2004 all raring to go! at (698216) at the Bennachie centre. We continue following the way marked paths westwards to 679213 and then gently head up hill to meet a track traversing the hilltop. At this point there is a magnificent view of the area and towards the Cairgorms if visibility is good. The track continues to the west and we meet a short section if tarmac road, which takes us to, the finishing point at 611229. If the weather is bad we shall do an alternative short walk in the Bennachie woodland area.

Walkers must wear walking boots. Warm hat and gloves and waterproof clothing ARE ESSENTIAL. Bring warm drinks and plenty of food. Be prepared for possible wintry and icy conditions.
