Distance 13km (8mls) Ascent 350m OS map 37
We start from Bellabeg (NJ352130) and walk down the track past Lost to Torrancroy. From there we ascend Ladylea Hill, first crossing a field and then heather moorland. From the summit at NJ343168 we descend to a forest track, which we follow to a minor road. A short distance along the road we pick up another forest track, eventually joining the main road about 0.75km from our starting point.
Walkers must wear walking boots, carry WARM and waterproof clothing, hat and gloves and take plenty food and liquids. THESE ARE ESSENTIAL. Be prepared for possible wintry conditions on the top whatever the forecast below. Take gaiters if you have them can be quite boggy in some places.
